I’m an aerospace engineer in the Space Force with a passion for painting and creating landscapes. I’m particularly drawn to landscapes, though not the postcard-perfect scenes that often come to mind. Colorado’s mountains, forests, and open spaces have always inspired me because of the feeling they evoke: a quiet sense of isolation that is simultaneously somber, peaceful, and freeing. Much of my work explores that balance. I aim to capture not just a place, but the emotional experience of standing alone in nature and feeling connected to something larger.

I approach painting much the same way I approach engineering: simplicity isn’t the absence of complexity—it’s the result of understanding what matters most. high contrast, intentional use of whitespace, and a focus on simplicity and atmosphere.
